Hillary Yasmer Shemin > Post 550 6/27/09 Another shot from the KaBoom Playground build. The gray dust cloud is from the cement being mixed up in this area where this fellow was working. Sorry that I am posting from the same event, but with over 1,500 pics to sort through and post, I am a bit consumed with these shots. I am not posting all of them, but it is hard to cut out too many as I hope all the people I gave cards to will come by my website and take pictures for themselves. It was my little thank you to them for what they did for the community...therefore I wanted to post a lot of options..crazy, but hey...it's my thing!

So much energy and activity...guess I really am starved for this city stuff since we live in a more suburban area. I love cities and all that there is to do and see....Have a good day!
Hillary Yasmer Shemin > Post 552 6/29/09 A Party Guy!!! This young fellow was a guest at a graduation party where I was 'the photographer'. I have a ton of photos to edit and it is Monday and back to my real job....no time to edit yet, but loved this shot. It was a little overexposed and he had chocolate brownie all over his mouth before I did a little 'work', but I just loved his face!!!! Extremely busy 2 weeks coming up...I'll try to post if I can! Happy MOnday!!!

Yes, this is my 365th post, which means not only have been in this community for more than a year, but now I have completed a years worth of posts to this community. I can't begin to express what this group has meant to me and to Steve, too! We have made new friends and you have all given me such an opportunity for growth and new vision with my photography that no course could have succeded in giving me. I thank those of you I know and those of you who I don't know, who suddenly leave a comment that lets me know you've been watching my photos. It is a thrill to share this artform..to see your creativity and to have mine seen and appreciated. I'm not leaving, by the way, just felt this was an opportunity to thank you for what you have all given to me. Healthy, Happy and Safe Holidays and New Year to all of you. With love, Hillary and Steve, too! :) PS- This shot was taken Sunday morning when Steve and I were out for brunch to celebrate his birthday.
Hillary Yasmer Shemin > Post 395 1/24/09 It is late at night as I post this...fitting considering the subject of my shot. Steve and I took a walk in the little Halloween Haunted House set behind where we live again and this time I saw some of the 'locals'. Steve asked me if I would be willing to walk over there again in the dark of night. As I listened at 4 in the afternoon to the trees swaying and cracking in the breeze, it was a very easy answer to say, "No way!"
Hillary Yasmer Shemin > Post 386 1/15/09 Remember feeling the warmth and calm of watching the carefree feeling of a child walking along the beach. I feel about as opposite of this as can be tonight. No pics taken of any value and I would love to be back on this Florida beach right now..This is another of the still unsorted and unedited photos from Florida last July.
