Using that tripod I invested in....
After the photo shoot the other day with my family I had my tripod still sitting out and I thought I would give myself a little self portrait photo session. Nice light coming in from the bedroom window and I was set to go. What I am curious to know...Does the camera focus when you press the release and it is set on self timer or focus as it shoots? The 40D does not have a remote so I had to get up and press it for each shot I took. I tried to sit close to the wall where I thought it would be focusing and in some of the shots I used a smaller aperature for deeper depth of field. but I just wasn't sure. Thoughts or comments???
