A PHOTOGRAPHER FRIEND

February 15th, 2008 - I decided to capture the memory of my lovely Valentine rose from Sam ( my younger son) as a daily. I learned just how hard it is to take a good picture of a flower that really shows some depth and detail. I have a new found respect for nature and flower still life photographers!!! This is my attempt from my 'studio' ( Well, Matt and Jon have studios, don't they?)

This is a shot where you can see what my background is, when in focus. A pillow with a leaf patterned fabric! My studio lighting: a table lamp with the shade off.
