SmugMuggers at Eastern State Penitentiary- Philly : August 13th, 2008 - A group of us from the Daily community had a date to meet and shoot at Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, Pa, then go out for dinner for some time to talk and get to know eachother better. It was really a fun time for all, I think. I know for me it was a really terrific afternoon. I had been there before and was more interested in the meeting and greeting than the where..These are the majority of the shots I took. I played with a few in PP with Picasa, but mostly these shots are including ones that I might normally delete, but since I didn't really take too many and wanted to document our fun time together, I just kept them all in. Thank Alex, for the great tech tips on using my camera better in how to adjust exposure. Thanks all for making the effort to drive into Philly and make this happen. Thanks Matt for bringing your delightful friend Lindsey along...she was a pleasure, to meet as well. I can't wait to see the shots you guys, took, too!

I just have had the greatest fun with these photos and really enjoyed meeting so many of you at UOR whom I may not have had the opportunity to talk to without the camera. RDH UOR 2008 - Chicago : This was my third visit to RDH Under One Roof and they get better and better. Thank you all for allowing me combine my passions this weekend... While enjoying this all Dental Hygiene conference I had the great fun of taking lots and lots of photos. You were such great sports and I had such a ball meeting you all. The camera has been an 'ice breaker' for me in many social settings and still serves me well, that way.

I have only just begun processing the photos at this time and with a vacation on the horizon 8/6-8/10, I will not be able to finish sorting and processing all the 700-800 photos before I leave so keep checking back to see if the photos are all here. YOu are welcome to right-click save the photos to your computer so you can print and share them from there. They are my copyrighted property, but I am very happy to share them with you as long as you credit me as the photographer. If you are not into printing your own prints and want to buy them from this site, just click "Buy:this photo" and you will be able to buy them there for a low price.

I have tried to weed out shots that are not flattering, but if you see a shot of yourself that you would want to have me remove, please email me and tell me the number so I can take it off the site. These photos are for personal and private use. If you choose to use a photo commercially, please e-mail me for permission. Mummer's Parade - January 1st, 2008 : January 1st, 2008 - My first Mummer's parade since we moved back into the area. What fun I had to shoot pictures for 3 hours. A late start to the parade so I only really shot the comic groups. All the people watching and all the people in the parade I encountered were just having a great time! 2008 Philly Film Festival : April is always Philly Film Festival time. Steve and I look forward to our "happy place" in darkened Ritz theaters every year. There are so many people with a common interest in films and different causes that waiting in line is a good thing for us. This year the weather was mostly mild so there was lots of time to chat with other festival goers. Here are some of the people I saw along the way. The opportunity to meet with Directors and Actors after screenings is a true highlight and I appreciate the graciousness they showed in allowing me to take their photos.
